Conversion Rate: Conversion rate is the percentage of visitors who complete a desired action. Industry averages range from 2-5% for landing pages, 2-5% for email click-through, and 1-3% for paid ad conversion.
Formula and example
Conversion rate = Conversions / Visitors x 100
If 20 people convert out of 1,000 visitors, your conversion rate is 2%. A landing page with 2% conversion is performing at industry average.
